Our Story

Mike and Rex founded Mister's in 2020, and the business was born from a love of both food and entertaining.

Our aim has always been to provide the best quality food, drinks and service that we can. Thanks to you, our guests, our awards are a testament to that, having been awarded The Taste of Gloucester Award at the Gloucestershire Foodie Awards 2024 & 2025, Travellers Choice Award from TripAdvisor for 2024, 2025 & 2026, and The Good Food Awards Blue Ribbon Award for 2024 & 2025 and The Good Food Awards Gold Seal for 2026, none of which would have been possible if it weren't for all the wonderful feedback we receive from you in your reviews.

Mister's is very much a family business, with many members of our family working with us, one of which being Kayleigh, Mike’s daughter, who, after three years of extensive hard work and dedication, has been made a partner in the business! Those who are not related are now considered as part of our extended family!

Both Mike and Rex are chefs as well as owners, both are always here so you may see them popping in and out on occasion, when they are allowed out of the kitchen, that is!

Fun Facts:

The name for the business came from Mike and Rex's names! 'M' for Mike and 'R' for Rex together spell MR, hence Mister's! Since opening, our customers have come to affectionately refer to us as Mr Mike and Mr Rex!
